The body of Raymond Khalil Jones, 28, was found shortly before 10 p.m. in the 4600 block of Dallas Place Friday, March 3, according to Prince George's County Police.

Officers located Jones after responding to reports of a shooting in the area and pronounced him dead at the scene with apparent gunshot wounds.

In May 2022, Jones was charged with the double homicide of Antoine Jenkins, 22, and Antwan Brown, 62.

Jones was accused of killing the pair on March 14, 2022 in the 700 block of 13th Street, SE in Washington, DC.

It is unclear when Jones was released from jail or if he was still facing the murder charges when he was killed.

Police are currently working to identify a suspect and motive for the murder of Jones, and are asking anyone with additional information to come forward as soon as possible.
